System Requirements For QuickBooks: All versions

QuickBooks Pro and Premier :

Requirements for the desktop versions of QuickBooks are very moderate and may run on most computers. Quickbooks requires at least 2 GHz processor with 1GB of RAM. QuickBooks Desktop and software integration Requirements:

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise with Hosting:

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise Hosting Service can connect through one of three paths, depending on your operating system and preference. On the web, it can work through Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Client, or through a Java-based client.

Option 1: Web

The Remote Desktop software you’ll need is built into Windows 8 or later Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.

  • Properly configured Internet connection (but 56K or higher broadband is recommended)
  • Windows 8 But the latest-based computer is necessary.
For Mac OS X –

Download Microsoft’s Remote Desktop Connection client software for the operating system.

  • Mac OS X version 10.7 or even newer

Option 3: Java Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) Client:

This option is available for those who use Linux and other operating systems. It provides only limited functionality, however, and Right Networks does not provide support for this configuration. Various Java RDP clients can connect to the service.

Supported R.D.P Clients –
  • Windows – RDP client version 8.0 or newer.
  • Mac – RDP client version 8.0 or newer.
  • Mobile Devices – Microsoft Remote Desktop 8.0 or higher for Android or iOS. Other 3rd party RDP applications may work but have not been tested by Right Networks.
  • Linux – desktop builds will allow connectivity.

System Requirements for QuickBooks Online

Using a web-based software product hardly needs any different types of requirements. In particular, you need

  • An Internet connection and a high-speed connection is recommended.
  • One of the four supported Internet browsers:
    • Chrome
    • Firefox
    • Internet Explorer 10 or higher
    • Safari 6.1

Although QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Online Accounting work in all the major browsers.   • DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver
And for higher versions are –
  • 1 GHz or even faster processor with support for PAE, NX, and SSE2.
  • 1 GB RAM of 32-bit but 2 GB of RAM 64-bit is necessary.
  • 16 GB hard disk space for 32-bit or 20 GB for the 64-bit.
  • DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM driver.

  • PAE – Physical Address Extension
  • NX  – NX processor bit
  • SSE2 – Streaming SIMD Extensions 2
According to Microsoft –
  • PAE gives 32-bit processors that have the ability to use more than 4GB of physical memory on Windows and is a prerequisite for NX.
  • NX helps your processor, by a guard against attacks by malicious software.
  • SSE2 is a standard instruction processor.
  • Increasingly used by third-party apps and drivers.

system requirements for MAC PC:

QuickBooks system requirements for MAC PC are –

  • MAC OS 10.12 – supported by MAC 10.13 and MAC 10.14
  • Intel processor core 2 duo or higher
  • Higher processor to run a multi-user server.
  • 4 GB RAM
  • 250 MB of free spaces or even more.
  • High-speed internet connections for downloading options.
  • Printer for print invoices or check.
  • Always use intuit checks
  • Product registration required.

Integration Requirements:

  • It requires the apple mail and all supports of the mail.
