Step 1: Check the File Requirements for Process

Step 2: Prepare Data to Export
Before converting the desktop version to the Online version, finish all the outstanding work in QuickBooks. Clean all the unwanted files and Update all your data before converting. Step 3: Create a QuickBooks Online Accountant

Step 6: Select the QuickBooks Online Company

Step 7: Copy the Data File
After choosing the online company, copy all the data files there. It will take a while but after completing it will give you a notification. You just have to click “Ok”. After that, it will send a confirmation email and you will be asked to complete the Setup. After all this before working on the online version do check all your files and compare the files with the Desktop version. After that, you will get a confirmation email again. Now you have to click on the Complete your Setup form where you can log in to your account and review the data.
